Halcyon CD Release Party
Come help me celebrate the release of my second album as a leader, Halcyon. I'm excited to present a ton of new music, including originals and arrangements for trio, quartet, and quintet. I hope to see you there! The band will include Quincy Davis on drums, Derrick Gardner on trumpet, Niall Bakkestad-Legare on saxophone, and Steve Kirby on bass. Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra: Back In Town!
Master clarinetist/saxophonist Sasha Boychouk returns to his old stomping ground where he will help the WJO bring the 2016/16 season to a rousing conclusion. Sasha was instrumental in the formation of the Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra, and it is fitting that we feature him to mark our 20 year journey. We'll feature Sasha in Artie Shaw's Clarinet Concerto and Begin The Bequine, as well as other classic big band clarinet repertoire. Buckle up for a great season ender!

Mysterious Barricades
The 3rd Annual Mysterious Barricades concert will promote National Suicide Awareness. Performers will include members of the Destautels Faculty of Music. I will be performing one selection this afternoon with Jon Gordon, saxophone.
